Mit Kollege Jürgen Armbruster habe ich einen kleinen Überblick verfasst, über 50 Filme, die 2007 hoch interessant werden könnten und ins Kino locken...

Schaut doch einfach mal vorbei, dürften für jeden ein paar Anregungen bei sein, was er dieses Jahr sehen muss ;)

Kinoprogramm demnächst: Zwei große Ärgernisse

Die Ankündigungen der Kinoverleiher der letzten Tage haben gleich zwei große Ärgernisse für mich bereit gehalten.

Eine Geschmacklosigkeit ist der neue Titel des letzten Films des kürzlich verstorbenen Regisseurs Robert Altman. A Prairie Home Companion wird in Deutschland "Robert Altman's Last Radioshow" heißen. Wie man auf so eine selten dämliche Idee kommen kann, will sich mir nicht erschließen und ich hoffe inständig, dass beim Verleih noch jemand auf die Idee kommt den Titel wieder zu ändern. Schlimmer kanns kaum werden.

Der heiß erwartete Tenacious D-Film (siehe auch hier) wird synchronisiert. Und nein nicht nur die Dialoge, auch die Songs. Jaaaa! Richtig gelesen. Auch die Songs! Ich hoffe es verschlägt auch eine O-Ton-Kopie in meine Nähe, wenn nicht werde ich auf ne Import-DVD zurückgreifen...

Wer bitte möchte auch schon diesen Eröffnungssong des Films mit Jack Black, Meat Loaf und Ronnie James Dio auf Deutsch hören?

Fünf Minuten zu Pans Labyrinth

Pans Labyrinth könnte ein frühes Highlight im nächsten Kinojahr werden. Bei Bloody Disgusting kann man sich jetzt einen Vorgeschmack holen und einen fünf Minuten langen Clip anschauen.

Die neue japanische Regiehoffnung Sion Sono scheint gerade sehr aktiv zu sein. Gerade ist Hazard, den ich allerdings mau fand in den japanischen Kinos gestartet (allerdings einige Jahre nach Dreh), nun stehen schon die nächsten beiden Projekte in der Pipeline. Kikyu kurabu, sonogo hier startet zu Weihnachten in Japan, Trailer sieht nach einer RomCom mit wunderschönen Bildern aus, aber die letzte Szene verwirrt dann ein bisschen. Sein nächstes Projekt "Exte - Hair Extensions" (noch ohne imdb-Eintrag) startet dann schon im Februar und scheint ein Horrorfilm zu sein, der aber das Genre und vor allem die Mädchen mit den langen schwarzen Haaren ein wenig auf die Schippe nimmt. In der Hauptrolle "Kill Bill"-Star Chiaki Kuriyama.

Tenacious D In The Pick Of Destiny

Dieser Film wird ein Spaß und YouTube sorgt dafür, dass man sich schon richtig drauf freuen.
Die großartigen ersten sechs Minuten finden sich dort ebenso wie die daran anschließende Szene, welche das Kennenlernen von Black und Gass zeigt.

The Backwoods von Koldo Serra

Dank Twitch mal wieder auf einen interessant tönenden Film gestoßen. The Backwoods von spanischen Regisseur Koldo Serra (der übrigens an einem meiner Lieblingskurzfilme "7:35 de la mañana" als first assistant director beteiligt war) mit Gary Oldman spielt in den siebzigern und hat dem Trailer nach auch den Stil dieser Zeit. Könnte ein wirklich guter Psychothriller werden, wobei ich nicht glaube, dass der es in die deutschen Kinos schafft.

Zu Wisit Sasanatieng's Horrorfilm"The Unseeable" gibt es einen Trailer:

Bildqualität ist mäßig, aber sonst lässt das auf ein bisschen Abwechslung im Asia-Horror-Bereich hoffen.

Shoot 'em Up - Der Actionkracher 2007???

Das könnte der Action-Kracher des nächsten Jahres werden. Drei tolle Darsteller, große Kanonen und ein Film, der verspricht nicht für irgendwelche Altersstufen runtergeschnitten zu werden.

Schön übrigens auch die Geschichte, wie der Regisseur zum Film kam:

(Michael) Davis comes from the low-budget, indie comedy world. After writing "Shoot," Davis drew on his storyboard skills to illustrate about 17,000 individual drawings that he then animated to show how he would direct the movie's action. The animatic trailer so impressed New Line that it is not only buying the project but also signing Davis to a two-picture option. Und hier gibt es schon einen ersten vielversprechenden Trailer mit schönen 007-Zitat (wie man seit "The Hire" ja weiß, wäre Clive Owen die Ideal-Besetzung für James Bond gewesen).
